Recreation Department
Our Mission:
The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe's Recreation Department is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant and inclusive community by fostering a love for physical activity, promoting cultural enrichment, and providing a welcoming space for all. We are committed to:
-
We strive to provide accessible and engaging recreational opportunities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our tribal members.
-
We believe in the power of physical activity to enhance physical and mental health, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle for all ages.
-
We incorporate elements of traditional Mojave culture into our recreational programs, fostering a sense of identity and pride among our youth.
-
We envision the Recreation Department as a hub for community engagement, fostering social connections and strengthening the bonds within our tribe.
Together, we will create a thriving community where recreation is not just an activity, but a way of life, a celebration of our shared culture, and a pathway to a healthier and more connected future.
